OVERVIEW OF VBS 2013

The Mighty God – God Leads Moses and Me

Theme Verse: Jeremiah 32:17, 18, “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts.”

Aim: God loves, calls, saves, guides and cares for me.

On your quest for The Mighty God you will learn how much God loved Moses and how much God loves you also and that God has a great plan for your life. Next, you will learn how God called Moses and how He calls every person through reading His Word and the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Then you will understand about how God saved the Israelites by the Passover and how that relates to Jesus being the Passover Lamb for all; and, with acceptance, salvation is freely given. Then, in the next lesson you will learn how God guided Moses and the Israelites and how God also leads you through life. The last lesson will teach you how God cared for Moses and the Israelites and how God cares and provides for you also.

How Was Your Sonlight Express Train Ride?

VBS 2012 – Sonlight Express, Jesus & Me

The Sonlight Express train ride is almost over (for this year). We hope you enjoyed your journey. It has been an adventure for us. This has been one of our most popular Vacation Bible Schools ever.

The popularity of Sonlight Express has been very encouraging. The train theme and Bible lessons seem to have hit a chord with many churches. Bogard Press VBS curriculum has become a vehicle for broadcasting the truth. As we remain true to the Word in the presentation and lessons, we pray that the truth of God’s Word will win hearts and minds of the lost, wherever it is used.

BOGARD PRESS VBS THEMES

Bogard Press VBS themes are Bible-centered. Each year, we keep the Bible at the center of our Vacation Bible School. Our VBS literature emphasizes Bible truths, stories and memory verses. We use simple verses from the KJV Bible that children love to memorize — verses that can impact their lives and eternal destinies.

VBS is a wonderful opportunity to lead children to the Savior. The Holy Scriptures are able to make them “wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:15). The salvation of their souls should be the most important goal in VBS.

VBS should also be fun and exciting — games, snacks, songs and crafts. All of these can point to the Bible and Jesus.
